Cakes from Pleasant Point

Pleasant Point is famous as the birthplace of Denheath custard squares. The business began in the town’s former post office in 1990. Growing demand led the owners to relocate to Timaru, where 2,000 custard squares are made at a time, and distributed to cafés around the country.
