This table shows the median (middle) income for people aged 15 and over by ethnic group, as recorded in the 2013 census. It suggests that the income of people identifying as European was significantly higher than that of the other major ethnic groups. Note that the 'Other' category includes those who stated that they were 'New Zealanders' on the census form.
