The Rimutaka

The <em>Rimutaka</em>

In 1900 the Rimutaka-class ships started to replace the New Zealand Shipping Company’s costlier passenger steamers. As her straight lines suggest, the 7,765-ton Rimutaka was an economical passenger–cargo carrier.
