New Zealand is well-endowed with natural and man-made
parks and gardens; there are also many private gardens, but
few of these are open to inspection at set hours, as is often
the case overseas.
The following list sets out the main parks and gardens, by
district or city.
John Paiba Salinger, B.SC.(HORT.)(READING), N.D.H., Horticultural Advisory Officer (Ornamentals), Department of Agriculture, Wellington.
