Affiliations

The Associated Chambers of Commerce of New Zealand is affiliated to two international bodies comprising chambers and associations of chambers in the Commonwealth with headquarters at London; and to the International Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1920, with members from 57 countries. The New Zealand body is affiliated with the latter through the British National Committee of the international chamber. New Zealand has been represented at the Commonwealth Federations Congresses (one was held in New Zealand in 1936 and another is planned for 1970) and at the Congress of the International Chamber (1961).
