Experience of mental illness: post-natal depression

Former prime minister Dame Jenny Shipley and her husband Burton described their personal experience of post-natal depression to the Mothers matter website, run by the Postnatal Depression Family/Whanau New Zealand Trust. Shipley describes her experience as 'one of the most debilitating things I have ever endured ... How I wish that a website like www.mothersmatter.nz had been available to me at that time.'
