New Zealand writers on stamps

For many years New Zealand stamps featured people who were not New Zealanders – mainly royalty. It took until 1989 for a stamp issue commemorating New Zealand writers to be issued. These four stamps featured Katherine Mansfield, James K. Baxter, Bruce Mason and Ngaio Marsh.
