Purpose of use and undertaking The Ministry for Culture and Heritage undertakes to use best endeavours to ensure the material is accompanied by a statement regarding permissions and copyright. If appropriate, the statement may include a link to relevant institutional or individual websites. The Ministry for Culture and Heritage is authorised to use, copy or modify the material for the purpose of Te Ara – the Encyclopedia of New Zealand, its website and any related publications and for any other Ministry for Culture and Heritage publications and websites, where the appropriate box is ‘ticked’ above. The licence is non-exclusive and irrevocable, and will remain in effect for as long as the Ministry uses the material for the purpose set out in this Agreement.
