If you have a digital copy of the image attach it here. Note that we require high-resolution images (at least 1000 pixels wide) and reserve the right to decide whether or not to include it on this website. We will contact you before publishing it. Files must be in either JPG, BMP, PNG, TIF or GIF format, and smaller than 5MB. Please name the file surname-firstname.filetype e.g. joe-bloggs.jpg
Files must be less than 5 MB.
Allowed file types: gif jpg png bmp tif.
Please give as much information as possible regarding the person/people in the photo, when and where it was taken, etc.
I hold the rights for the use of this material for the purpose described in this Agreement, and hereby give permission to the Ministry for Culture and Heritage. Purpose of use and undertaking The Ministry for Culture and Heritage undertakes to use best endeavours to ensure the material is accompanied by a statement regarding permissions and copyright. If appropriate, the statement may include a link to relevant institutional or individual websites. The Ministry for Culture and Heritage is authorised to use, copy or modify the material for the purpose of Te Ara – the Encyclopedia of New Zealand, its website and any related publications and for any other Ministry for Culture and Heritage publications and websites, where the appropriate box is ‘ticked’ above. The licence is non-exclusive and irrevocable, and will remain in effect for as long as the Ministry uses the material for the purpose set out in this Agreement.
