Anti-Semitism in New Zealand

Jews in New Zealand have sometimes been the victims of prejudice, but generally not of virulent anti-Semitism or severe discrimination or persecution. New Zealand Jews are, however, vigilant in opposing any hint of anti-Semitism in the country. When this anti-Semitic publication, Caution: Zionism, surfaced at an international trade fair held in Wellington in 1971, an angered Jewish community quickly mounted a protest.
