This is the third page of a 24-page booklet entitled The guide to the electoral referendum, which explained the choices voters would be given in the referendum on the electoral system on 19 September 1992. An overwhelming majority of the 55% of the registered voters who turned out to vote in the referendum voted for a change to the electoral system on Part A of the referendum voting paper. A large majority opted for the mixed-member proportional (MMP) system on Part B of the voting paper.
