The K-line irrigation system was invented in New Zealand. A large number of small rotary sprinklers within supporting pods are spaced on an irrigation line spread across a paddock or orchard. The line can easily be moved to new locations within a paddock by towing it behind a quad bike, and can be used for spraying either water or animal effluent fertiliser.
