This harvesting head, produced by Tokoroa company Waratah, is used for felling trees and removing branches during thinning and harvesting operations. It can cut wood 750 millimetres in diameter and has a long reach. It is among the specialised machinery developed by the company since the 1970s as the result of research into logging methods.
