The sixth annual workshop for young composers was held at the Nelson School of Music in May 1987. In this documentary, Alison Parr talked to some of the participants and followed them as their compositions were practised and then performed. This excerpt shows part of a performance of Sonata for flute by Stephen Schultz, followed by an audience discussion.
