Deaf  Rugby World Championships final 2002

Deaf Blacks number 8 Samuel Taua'a (left) is seen in the final of the 2002 Deaf Rugby World Championship, New Zealand versus Wales, at Eden Park, Auckland. Wales won the match 28–14. Deaf rugby players have often played in local and provincial teams with hearing players. They have also formed their own teams, including the Deaf Blacks, the New Zealand representative team.
