Te Whīkoi a Te Rata ki Ingarangi, 1914

Ko Tāwhiao, tana tupuna, Kīngi Māori o mua, ko Te Rata, ko rāua i haere ki Ingarangi ki te tuku petihana ki Piritania, ki tōna Kīngi, kia whakahokia ngā whenua o Waikato i raupatutia.  Kei te taha maui ia o tēnei whakaahua me ōna hoa haere i tēnei whīkoi o te tau 1914 – ko Te Pirīmia o Te Kīngitanga, ko Tupu Taingākawa, me ngā hēkeretari, kaiwhakapākehā hoki, arā ko Hōri Tiro Pāora me Mita Karaka.  Ka tūtaki i a Kīngi Hōri V me tōna hoa rangatira, ēngari ko te kupu me hoki ia ka haria ai tōna kaupapa ki te Kāwanatanga o Aotearoa māna hei whakatikatika.
