Story Summary

Ngā whakaahua

Kawa o te marae

Ko te kawa he momo ture tapu ka whakahaere i te marae. Kei ia marae tōna ake kawa whakahaere, engari arā tonu ngā āhuatanga ōrite puta noa i ngā marae katoa.

Ngā pūrākau me te pōwhiri

Kei runga i ngā marae ngā atua nui o te Māori. Hei tauira, nō Tūmatauenga te ātea i waho atu i te wharenui. Nā whai anō he wehi anō ngā kōrero i waho. I roto i te wharenui ko Rongo, ā, mārie tonu ngā kōrero.

Te hītori o te pōwhiri

I hua ake te pōwhiri i ngā rā o nehe hei whakamātau i te manuhiri. I ō mua wā ka whakamahi ētahi iwi i ngā hui hei huaki i tētahi atu.
