Kōrero: Shows and field days

New Zealand shows, 2007

In 2007 there were almost 100 A & P associations holding annual shows – about half in the North Island and half in the South Island. Many were in the South Island’s eastern farming districts of Canterbury, Otago and Southland. Most of the existing shows began life in the 40 years before the First World War.
