An important way to help prevent the spread of tuberculosis (TB) is the use of movement control areas. No cattle or deer can be moved out of these designated areas without a permit from the Animal Health Board. Approval will be given only if the herd has had a negative test within 60 days of the planned movement date. The red areas of the map are the TB control areas as at March 2007.
