Kapa haka group

Kapa haka group

This kapa hapa (traditional Māori performing arts) group includes children from Waimana School. They were performing at the Te Hui Ahurei a Tūhoe festival at Rūātoki in 2003. This two-yearly event plays an important part in connecting young Tūhoe people to their culture.
