Waitangi Tribunal meets at Ōrākei

This is a hearing of the Waitangi Tribunal in the wharenui at Ōrākei marae, Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), in 2007. As with most tribunal hearings, members of the tribunal are seated at rear centre, with representatives of the Crown on one side and of Māori claimants on the other. This is a hearing for the Wai 262 claim into Māori rights to traditional fauna and flora, and intellectual property.
