To Whom it may Concern
i have a handwritten letter from Rosemary Rees to my mother Kathryn Grace Moody (nee Murie) dated postmarked
12 March 1933 and sent from Warwick House, Christchurch. She refers to her new novel Local Colour & ... "tearing through NZ for the new book New Zealand Holiday"
She also refers to how my mother (who was an actress) ...."saved my life by that marvellous performance with two rehearsals in Wellington"
Rosemary would have been about 27 years older than my mother who had invited her down to Kurow to visit.
I live in Masterton (06 378 7458) & somewhere in a box there may be more theatrical memorabilia from the 1920's
