The Kauri Timber Company was a Melbourne-based syndicate that dominated the kauri felling and milling industry from 1888 onwards. These extracts from the company’s Auckland factory catalogue date from 1906, the year after the kauri industry peaked. They show the range of timber goods produced, from furniture to fretwork.
