My father worked for a Mr Kain. He helped with the building and garden of a holiday home just out of Picton. Dad also looked after Mr Kain's launch moored at Waikawa. The launch was named after "Cobber Kain". there was a picture of Cobber Kain with a short poem.....I can't remember all the words but I think it had "reaching for the sky" in the poem. Mr Kain and his wife lived in Wellington. I think he was the Uncle Of Cobber Kain. That was back in 1958.
