Scientist Gary Barker

Gary Barker has published over 100 scientific papers on terrestrial invertebrates (animals without backbones) – mainly snails and slugs, on which he is the New Zealand expert. He works for Landcare Research in Hamilton, and has studied and described specimens from all over the country.
