Picnic at Bon Accord

Picnic at Bon Accord

Community picnics were sometimes held on the grounds of local station-owners. This one is in the garden of James Adam’s property, Bon Accord, near Milton. The visitors are probably taking part in organised games, which were common at picnics. The group on the far left are playing bowls.
